Last Day of Term Celebrations at the Ukrainian School
On 2 June, we celebrated the end of the school term at the Ukrainian Sunday School. In Ukraine we call the 'the day of the last bell' to signify the bell children hear when the final class ends.
This term marks the end of the second year of the School's operation and we have definitely grown and learned together with our pupils. During the ceremony, we congratulated all students and teachers on a successful term with poems, songs, and festive atmosphere. Celebrating our small wins is very important to remind volunteers how much we value their work, and to children - how proud we are of them showing up every Sunday with no fail. We are grateful to the Rosemount Learning Centre for hosting the School, and the Lord Provost of Aberdeen for the grant that made it possible for us to open doors this term.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the School again after the summer break on September 1st.
