Ukrainian Community in Aberdeen marks 1000 days of full-scale invasion
19th November marked 1000 days since the full-scale invasion began. The Ukrainian community in Aberdeen marked this day with a peaceful demonstration in the centre of the city. We are grateful to all who joined today’s moment of silence in Aberdeen, Scotland. Despite the cold weather, there was a sizeable crowd near Marischal College which was lit up in yellow a blue to honour the Ukrainian Flag.
Big thank you to the people of Aberdeen and the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, David Cameron, for supporting us with such an important gesture in these challenging times.
It is so important to come together, support one another, and remind the world that the war in Ukraine is still ongoing. This is not just our fight — it is a fight for freedom, humanity, and the future. We are strong when we stand united. Your actions and your presence give us the strength to keep going, even in the darkest moments. Thank you to everyone who remembers, supports, and continues to believe in Ukraine’s victory.
