Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen Takes Part in the Vyshyvanka Parade in Glasgow
On 23 May, members of Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen proudly took part in the annual Vyshyvanka Parade in Glasgow, joining Ukrainians from across Scotland in a vibrant celebration of Ukrainian culture, heritage and unity.
Dressed in traditional embroidered shirts, participants marched through the city carrying Ukrainian flags and proudly representing their communities. The parade brought together people of all ages and served as a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving Ukrainian traditions while living abroad.
A special highlight of the day was the performance by U Band, which proudly represented Aberdeen's Ukrainian community. Their music added energy and joy to the celebrations and helped showcase the richness of Ukrainian culture to all those attending the event.
The atmosphere throughout the day was warm, welcoming and inspiring. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Ukrainians, celebrate our shared heritage and demonstrate continued solidarity with Ukraine.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in and helped organise this memorable event. Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen is proud to be part of such celebrations that bring our community together and keep Ukrainian culture alive for future generations.
