Ukrainians Gather in Aberdeen on the Third Anniversary of the Full-Scale Invasion
On 24 February, Ukrainians from around the North East gathered near Marischal Square to commemorate the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, remember the fallen heroes, and remind the world about our ongoing struggle.
Thank you to everyone who joined and all the volunteers for preparing the posters and your active contributions during the demonstration. From all of us at Ukrainian Hub Aberdeen, we, the Ukrainians, express our deepest gratitude for the incredible support we’ve received. The war is not over. Our homeland still bleeds, our people still suffer, and every Ukrainian carries this pain in their heart. In these dark times, your kindness and solidarity shine like a light of hope. Every word of support, every presence at our gatherings, every moment of unity means more than we can express. A special thank you Lord Provost of Aberdeen to the Aberdeen city for once again standing with us - the illuminated Marischal College and the Ukrainian flag are not just symbols, they are a powerful message that justice, truth, and humanity matter.
We may be far from home, but with friends like you, we are never alone. Together, we are stronger. Together, we will endure. Together, we will win.
